A few weeks ago I started building a small patio area behind my house, just a short walk from Luton Mall. I had planned everything carefully, dug out the ground, and set read more up the timber frame. The one thing I underestimated was how much effort it would take to mix that much concrete by hand. After doing a few test batches in a wheelbarrow,
